The nostril piercing probably is the most common piercing in the nose.

It is on the left or on the right ala of the nose but there can also be carried several piercings in a row (venom piercing) or on both sides. Often jewellers are offer the shooting with a ear piercing gun but we strongly advise against doing this because thereby the tissue can break down. Because in this region runs a lot of nerves the stitching could be feeled as very painful.

The healing takes about 4 weeks and mostly proceeded without complications by correct stitching.

For jewellery both nose studs and labret studs or ball closure rings (BCR) can be applied.
