The Snug-Piercing is at the inner cartilage-arch parallel to the edge of the ear and is only possible if the anatomy of the pinna is admited.

The healing takes about 3 to 8 months and could approve more difficult than by other ear piercings because the cartilage is very thick and this part is exposed to  high pressure particularly during sleep.

For piercing jewellery a small ball closure ring (BCR) or a banana barbell could apply.
