PTFE (teflon) / PMFK (bioplast)

Probably PTFE and PMFK are the most preferred materials when it comes to piercing jewellery, because among others they are compatible biological very good and doesn´t cause allergies.

Teflon and bioplast are lightweight and smooth plastics, which are suited optimally for first- and steady application of piercing jewellery.

Because the surface of these stuffs is very smooth, non-self substance (e.g. wound secretion) can stick thereon very weak. So among the usage of PTFE/PMFK it comes to fewer till nothing complications during the healing. Because the material owns a high flexibility, it can be cut into needed lengths and also be sterilised without restrictions.

A PTFE or PMFK piercing isn´t magnetical and needn´t to removed during roentgen.
