Chest

There are some different manners to stitch a piercing:

With a sterile piercing-needle in whose cavity is applied the piercing jewellery the piercing can be stitched and afterwards the jewellery can be pulled through the canaliculus. Some piercer also use a peripheral vein catheter whose the needle is surrounded by a cover of plastic or teflon. After the piercing of the tissue the needle will be removed.

The applied jewellery shouldn´t be removed until the complete healing (until several months), so germs don´t get the chance to release an infection.

Depending which part of the chest is pierced the canaliculus can accrete or not after complete healing. Though this can be conducted in an operative procedure by sew up the canaliculus. But at this you must reckon with formation of scars.
