The medusa piercing is stitched in the middle of the skin fold between nose and upper lip.

In the part of the lips the stitching of these piercing mostly is feeled as achiest. In any case you should apply a shorter stud after the healing so the injury of teeth and gingival will be reduced.

As with all other piercings in the part of the mouth it is advised to waive on alcohol and tobacco during the first 24 hours after stitching.

The healing takes about 4 to 6 weeks.

For jewellery a labret stud is suited.
