The extremely rare nick piercing is stitched in the upper part of the upper lip and escapes below the part of the eyes on the cheek.
So it is the opposite to the lowbret piercing and also a very risky piercing. There is the risk to damage the triginus nerve, which have its branches at this part. Thereby the salivation could be disturbed.
For piercing jewellery a piercing barbell is used.
