The labia piercing can be stitched through the outer and also through the inner labia.

Whereby a piercing through the outer labia takes more time in healing, because these are oftener exposed to outside influences than the inner labia. Certainly you could arrange several piercings symmetrical or in a row (venom piercing). This piercing belongs to the less painful and that´s why it is so favoured.

A piercing through the outer labia (labia majora) normally is possible by every woman, meanwhile by a piercing through the inner labia (labia minora) it come down to the anatomy and so it isn´t suited for every woman.

The healing takes 6 to 8 weeks (outer labia) respectively 2 to 3 weeks (inner labia). During this healing time you should waive on any sexual activities.

For jewellery often a circular barbell or a ball closure ring (BCR) with a strength of at least 1,6 mm are applied.
