The ring- or finger piercing mostly is carried at the ring finger, at this part where usually sits the ring.

It belongs to the rather rare piercings. The healing takes from about 3 weeks through to few months and mostly it runs rather bad, because this part always is in movement. So a complete healing can´t be guaranteed. Moreover the risk of outgrowing is very high.

For piercing jewellery a thin piercing barbell is carried.
