The hand web piercing is stitched into the skin fold between two fingers. Mostly between thumb and forefinger.

The propagation of this piercing is rather small and often it´s advised against, because it exposed to movement and other annoying influences (e.g. grime, everyday life works etc.) constantly. Moreover surface piercings involve the risk of outgrowing.

Probably it´ll be difficult to get the hand web completely healed and it takes at least 3 months.

For jewellery mostly a surface barbell or a ball closure ring (BCR) is applied.
